Questions tenants ask

Questions tenants ask

Not necessarily. Many business leases are protected by the 1954 Act, which gives the tenant a right to a new lease unless the landlord proves a statutory ground. Some leases are contracted out of that protection. We can tell you which yours is from the lease itself.

A record, usually with photographs, of the state of the premises at the start of the lease. It can limit your repairing obligation to that state.

Only if the lease has a break clause or the landlord agrees. Break clauses often have strict conditions, so read them a year before you might use one.
